Turnstiles and Entry Points

Turnstiles will open at 7pm.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early so as to avoid queuing and help ease the flow of people into the stadium.

Home supporters are reminded that they can enter via the Wheatfield and Gorgie Stand turnstiles regardless of which of these two stands they are seated in.

All turnstiles have been upgraded. The unmanned turnstiles now feature a front-facing reader that is compatible with season ticket cards, match tickets, and scanning digital tickets via your smartphone/electronic device. Simply hold your season card/ticket in front of the reader to scan the QR code/barcode, wait for the go-ahead, and push your way through the turnstile.

Searching is a condition of entry and refusal to cooperate will result in refused entry.

Anyone deemed to have consumed excessive amounts of alcohol will be refused entry, and supporters are reminded not to attempt to bring any prohibited items into the stadium, including pyrotechnics which are inherently unstable and dangerous to the user and those in proximity.

The club was fined by UEFA after a smoke-emitting pyrotechnic article was thrown onto the pitch prior to MD1’s encounter with Istanbul Basaksehir. Disappointingly, the flare came from the home end and it was thrown by a very young supporter. The club cannot stress enough that no pyrotechnics whatsoever should be brought into Tynecastle Park. If this warning is not heeded then we will be the subject of more fines, costing the club thousands of pounds, possible further sanctions and, most importantly, these objects put the safety of players, staff and fellow supporters at risk.

Supporters are encouraged to display exemplary behaviour inside Tynecastle Park by refraining from throwing any items on to the pitch. Again, the club was fined by UEFA following cups being thrown onto the pitch in MD2’s visit to Riga. While the club believes these incidents resulted from excitement when a goal was scored and again when the final whistle sounded, it goes to show the standards we must all adhere to otherwise UEFA will not hesitate to take action and the club will face stronger sanctions.

Unacceptable conduct will result in ejection from the stadium and any supporter who has been ejected will face sanctions in accordance with our unacceptable conduct policy.

A moment of silence will be undertaken prior to kick-off in memory of the victims of the recent tragic events at Kanjuruhan stadium in Indonesia.
