Steven Naismith will once again pull on the famous maroon jersey after joining Hearts on a permanent deal.
The Scotland striker has committed the rest of his career to the club, penning a four-year contract to keep him at Tynecastle until 2023.
His return marks the beginning of a third spell in Gorgie, following two loan moves from Norwich City.
Though injury hampered his 2018/19 campaign he still notched 14 goals in 27 appearances to take his total to 18 strikes in 48 appearances across two loan periods.
The striker, who has played five seasons in the English Premier League and has won three Scottish Premiership titles, two League Cups and a Scottish Cup, has completed his rehab over the summer and has targeted a return to first team action ahead of the start of the league season.
Steven spoke exclusively to HeartsTV about why he’s decided to finish his career at Hearts and what he feels he can achieve with the Jambos, to watch the interview click here.
