Forrester heads to Perth as part of cooperation agreement
07 August 2025Heart of Midlothian can confirm it has entered into a second cooperation agreement with St Johnstone, which will see Adam Forrester head to McDiarmid Park on loan.
The new Scottish FA initiative allows Premiership clubs to enter into an agreement with one club in each of the Championship, League One and League Two. The Jambos last month entered into a cooperation agreement with League Two Spartans, which saw Kenzi Nair join Dougie Samuels side.
Now the Jambos will link up with Championship Saints and as part of the agreement, Adam heads to Perth to aid Simo Valakari’s side as they push for a top flight return.
Speaking to the Official Hearts Website about the news, Head coach Derek McInnes said:
“We’re very pleased to have entered a cooperation agreement with St Johnstone, which will see Adam join the club on loan.
“This is a really positive move for Adam’s development. We hope he will receive regular game time, which is crucial for him to keep developing and improving, for a side who are pushing for a league title, which will bring its own pressure and demands.”
