Beder Named Back-of-Shirt Sponsor for Hearts v St Mirren Thanks to FanHub Donation
13 January 2026Beder – a leading mental health and suicide prevention charity - will proudly feature as back-of-shirt sponsor for Heart of Midlothian FC’s match against St Mirren on Wednesday 14 January, thanks to a generous donation of the sponsorship opportunity by FanHub.
Beder provides free access to therapy – in the form of six free 50 minute sessions - for individuals aged 18 and over, in Scotland and throughout the UK, who are experiencing mental health challenges and may struggle to access professional support so by placing Beder’s name directly above the player’s name on the playing shirt, the charity hopes to send a clear message: support is close, visible, and available when it is needed most.
Founded by Razzak Mirjan following the loss of his younger brother, Beder was created as a family-led response to grief, with the belief that no one should face mental health struggles alone.
FanHub’s generous donation of the sponsorship opportunity ensures Beder’s message reaches thousands of supporters, helping to normalise conversations around mental health and encourage anyone who may be struggling to seek support.
“Being placed above each player’s name feels incredibly meaningful,” said Razzak Mirjan, Founder of Beder. “We founded Beder as a family and always say by supporting Beder, you become part of the family so in this instance, it is almost as if Beder becomes part of each player’s family – present, supportive, and there when you’re needed. That reflects exactly why Beder was founded: as a family, for families, and for anyone who needs support.”
“We’re proud to donate our back-of-shirt logo placement to Beder for the St Mirren match. It’s a small gesture but one we hope helps shine a light on the importance of mental health. Football has a unique power to bring people together and we’re proud to use that platform to support such vital work and to champion Razzak and the entire Beder team in their efforts.”
Gareth Lippiatt, CEO, FanHub
“We’re delighted to have Beder on the back of our shirt for Wednesday evening’s fixture against St Mirren at Tynecastle. Beder raise invaluable awareness of issues surrounding mental health and suicide prevention by destigmatising the dialogue around these taboo topics, and we would like to thank FanHub for choosing to donate their shirt space allowing us to proudly recognise such an important cause." Catriona McCallum, Chief Revenue Officer, Heart of Midlothian Football Club
Beder has a strong history of working within football to raise awareness on a grassroots level through Beder FC and also having secured support from leading footballing personalities such as David Beckham and appearing as front of shirt sponsor for Reading FC last season recognising the unique role the game plays in bringing communities together and creating space for honest conversations around wellbeing.
