Cammy signed a 3-year-deal with Hearts in August 2021 having joined from Newcastle Jets for an undisclosed fee.

He worked his way up the ranks with Sutherland Sharks and Western Sydney Wanderers before grabbing his chance with Sydney FC in 2018/19. He featured eight times as they won the A-League Finals Series, reached the national cup final and played in the Asian Champions League.

He moved to Wellington Phoenix the following season, helping them to 3rd spot in the A-League and with it another place in the Finals Series.

Ranking up 50 A-League appearances, Cammy was set for a move to Newcastle Jets however Hearts swooped to make a move for the highly-rated defensive midfielder and brought him to Tynecastle Park.
