The attacking midfielder joined the Jambos in January 2024, from the English League One side Charlton Athletic.

28-year-old Scott has a wealth of experience from playing on both sides of the border. A product of Dundee United’s youth system, he made his professional debut for the Tannadice side in May 2014.

Following a loan spell at Airdrieonians, he would go on to feature 106 times for Dundee United, scoring 15 goals, before moving south to Burton Albion in 2018, where he would link up with future Hearts teammate Liam Boyce.

After 16 goals and 19 assists in 91 appearances for Burton, Scott made the move to MK Dons where he continued his excellent form in the final third, bagging 14 goals and providing eight assists.

A six-month spell at Ipswich Town followed before a transfer to Charlton in January 2021. With ten goals and 11 assists under his belt for the Addicks, Scott will now pull on the maroon jersey for the remainder of the campaign as the Jam Tarts look to build on an impressive run of form.
