Michael Smith won his 18th cap for Northern Ireland in their World Cup qualifying victory over Lithuania last night.
The Jambos’ full-back started in Vilnius and played 89 minutes as Ian Baraclough’s side went goal crazy, winning 4-1. Among the scorers was former Hearts forward Conor Washington.
The win puts Northern Ireland third in Group C, two points behind Switzerland in second place. They face Estonia in a friendly match in Tallinn on Sunday before resuming World Cup qualifying duty by hosting Switzerland in Belfast on Wednesday.
