Hearts began their pre-season campaign with a 6-0 victory over Linlithgow Rose.
In front of 500 fans, the first spectators to watch Hearts in 15 months, the Jambos ran out comfortable winners.
Playing two different XIs in each half, the first period side were four goals up at the interval.
Finlay Pollock opened the scoring with a lovely strike from the corner of the area, nutmegging his marker and bending a curling shot into the top corner.
Liam Boyce added a second from the spot after Connor Smith was tripped inside the area, following a sharp burst into the area, with Boyce sending the keeper the wrong way.
Michael Smith added a third just before the half hour when Boyce slipped a ball to the right, and Smith bent a shot with the outside of his right foot into the opposite corner.
Boyce added a fourth from the spot just prior to the break after Gary Mackay-Steven was brought down, shooting to the keeper’s right into the corner.
After the interval, Armand Gnanduillet added a fifth when a nice piece of play between Ryan Schiavone and Macaulay Tait saw the latter slide a ball across the face of goal for the striker to tap on.
In the final ten minutes, Gnanduillet hit the post from a header after a floated Sean Docherty cross, before Makenzie Kirk scored in the final minute after bringing down a Mihai Popescu pass in the area and finishing confidently to complete the scoring.
