BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  • Calum chairs the Board of Directors, which is collectively responsible for overseeing key strategic decisions, governance and safeguarding the Club’s long-term interests and values. 

    He is an experienced senior business executive and is Chairman & Senior Partner at growth equity investment firm, Scottish Equity Partners (SEP). Born in Edinburgh and brought up in Linlithgow, Calumis committed to ensuring Hearts continues to thrive on and off the pitch.

  • Andrew, who has extensive senior management experience with the Scottish FA and Scottish Golf, took up the CEO position in August 2020.

    Andrew takes overall responsibility for the club’s day-to-day operations.

    Andrew spent 16 years as a lawyer before moving into the sporting sector in 2012 when he joined the Scottish FA as Chief Operating Officer and then Interim Chief Executive before taking on the Chief Executive role at Scottish Golf in 2018.

    He was appointed to the Board of Directors at the 2020 AGM.

  • Claire Hammond is a dedicated Hearts fan with a professional background in recruitment. She has been volunteering with the Foundation of Hearts for a long period, contributing her expertise to initiatives aimed at growing membership and strengthening the club’s fan community.  

    A passionate advocate for fan ownership, Claire excels at building strong relationships and connecting with people. Her work reflects her
    commitment to ensuring that every fan's voice is heard and valued. Whether through her professional skills or her love for Hearts, Claire is proud to support and help grow the collective strength of the Foundation and its members.

  • Ralph is the Non-Executive Chair of C&C Group PLC, a leading premium drinks company which owns, manufactures, markets and distributes a unique portfolio of drinks brands across the globe.

    He was Chief Executive Officer of Marston’s PLC, the UK pub group for 20 years, having previously served as Marston's Finance Director.

    Ralph has also held Non-Executive positions as Chair of Vistry PLC, a leading UK Housebuilder, Chair of Keele University, and Chair of the British Beer and Pub Association. Ralph was awarded an OBE for services to hospitality in 2023.

  • James Franks was appointed as Tony Bloom’s representative to the club’s board as a non-executive director following Tony’s successful investment in Hearts.  He has been a legal and strategic business consultant to Tony for nearly two decades and has a deep knowledge of football governance.

    He played an integral role in Tony’s investment in Hearts, as well as the investments in Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium and Melbourne Victory in Australia, serving as a business adviser on the deals and leading the process to take each deal through to completion.

    James is a proud Foundation of Hearts pledger.
