We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Women's First Team Assistant Coach to join the team and strive to achieve ambitious objectives for the new season. The successful candidate will work closely with the Women’s First Team Manager to develop and implement training programs, match-day strategies, and support the overall growth of the team and its position within the SWPL.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality training sessions and support the Women’s First Team Manager with the weekly program including on pitch and video analysis sessions.
• Contribute to tactical decision-making including match-day substitutions in collaboration with the Women’s First Team Manager.
• Provide guidance and support with the recruitment of players that meet the required standard to place in the top positions of the SWPL.
• Support with pre-match and post-match analysis including analysis of statistical information relating to player game time and appearances.
• Prepare and deliver video analysis for presentation with the team and individual players.
• Collaborate with the Club’s Girl’s Academy team by inputting into Academy squad sessions and analysis to facilitate Academy player transitions to First Team level.
• Ensure the Club is represented in a professional manner in all authorised media communications.
• Support with compliance with all SWPL and all SWF governance criteria.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• UEFA A Licence (UEFA Pro Licence would be advantageous)
• Experience working within Women’s professional football environment.
• Experience working within First Team level professional football.
• Can reliably relocate or commute to Edinburgh and other locations as per the needs of the position
