The official Heart of Midlothian Matchday programme for Saturday’s Betfred Cup game against Dunfermline will be on sale in the Hearts Clubstore from Friday afternoon onwards.
Saturday’s programme cover features an adaptation of the ‘Men In Black’ movie poster, with Aaron Hughes and Prince Buaben in the lead roles. As ever, a pull-out A2-sized poster of the front cover is included inside every copy.
On sale for a lower than normal price of £3, to reflect a smaller 48 page programme for the Betfred Cup group stage home games, issue 03 is packed with a range of features.
Club Historian David Speed looks at two players who have played for both the Jambos and the Pars, whilst Gary Cowen takes a look back at a past programme from a previous meeting between the two clubs. In another historic feature, ‘Terrace Talk’ tells the story of the 1968 Scottish Cup Final between Hearts and Dunfermline.
‘Class of ‘98’ continues a look back at the memorable 1998 Scottish Cup winning season, whilst Roddy McKenzie is the subject of ‘He Wore Maroon.’
There’s also columns from Ian Cathro, Christophe Berra and Ann Budge, plus a round up of recent Hearts U20 games and a lowdown on visitors Dunfermline.
All this and much more for just £3 from the Hearts Clubstore from Friday afternoon onwards, or from outside Tynecastle prior to kick-off on Saturday.
