Gary Oliver has tonight left Hearts to join Queen of the South for an undisclosed fee.
The young striker has joined the Dumfries side on a permanent basis and leaves with the club’s best wishes as he goes in search of regular first team football at Palmerston Park.
Gary made his first-team debut in a Scottish League Cup tie against Raith Rovers back in August 2013, prior to appearing in his first SPL fixture at Inverness CT a few days later. He went on to make a total of 25 senior appearances for the Jambos.
Speaking to Hearts News, Gary said: "I just want to say thank you to the Hearts fans, coaches and staff. I'm leaving with many good memories and I'll miss the lads in the dressing room.
"I'm now looking forward to my new challenge at Queen of the South and playing regular football."
