New deals for duo

Hearts have moved to tie up young stars Connor Smith and Christopher Hamilton on extended contracts.

The duo have both penned new deals until 2022 after impressing the coaching staff with their work ethic and development last season.

17-year-old Connor made the first-team breakthrough towards the end of the 2018/19 campaign, with a full debut against Hibs at Easter Road, and he has now pulled on the maroon jersey four times for the top team.

Scotland U21 cap Chris has one first-team appearance to his name and last season captained Andy Kirk’s reserve side the to the inaugural Reserve Cup, beating Motherwell 2-0 in the final at Tynecastle.
