The Hearts Legends team will return to action on Sunday for a tough encounter against the Army.
The game will help raise funds for the Soldier's Charity and the army team will feature players recruited from across all Garrisons. Hearts Legends, operating a strict over-35 policy, are unbeaten since their inception and have helped raise 130,000 for good causes to date. They are expected to include Captain Jimmy Sandison, John Robertson, Scott Crabbe, Scott Severin, Ian Ferguson, Alan Lawrence and Jim Hamilton in their line up.
Hearts' Head of Community Alan White manages the Hearts legend side and is looking forward to a tough challenge: "We expect the army lads to be really fit so our boys will have to do a bit more running than they are used too!
"Everyone knows the significance of our relationship with the army and we are delighted have secured this game for the Legends.
"The Soldiers' Charity do a fantastic job and we encourage as many fans as possible to come along and cheer on both sides in aid of a fantastic cause."
The Army’s National charity since 1944 - helps all soldiers, veterans and their dependants, who are in need, whatever that need may be. In 2015/16 the total national charitable expenditure was over £8.4m, including grants to nearly 5000 individuals and 88 charities which delivered support on behalf of the Charity and the Army at large.
The match will take place at the Oriam Performance Centre at Riccarton this Sunday. The 4:15pm kick-off will be non-ticketed with a bucket collection in aid of The Soldiers' Charity.
