Jambos Kickback back Half-Time Heroes

Supporters forum Jambos Kickback has renewed its sponsorship of the Community Coaching & Football Development Department’s Half-Time Heroes programme.

Every season the initiative provides an opportunity for over 300 young players and 60 grassroots club coaches to showcase their talents on the pitch every matchday at Tynecastle.

This season we have welcomed teams from Tranent Colts, Dalkeith Thistle, Cramond FC and Bonnyrigg Rose with more teams already booked up for the remainder of the season.

Speaking about the deal, Hearts' Head of Community Alan White said, “Half-Time Heroes has now been in operation for the best part of a decade and is as popular with the Hearts supporters as it is with the kids. The programme has been a fantastic way for us as to engage with grassroots clubs, coaches, parents and volunteers. Jambos Kickback have been a stalwart supporter of Half-Time Heroes for a number of years and we are delighted to have them on board for another season.”

The Half Time Heroes experience on match days includes;

  • Match ticket for each young player
  • Pre-match training session with Hearts' community coaches
  • Lunch
  • Watch teams warm-up from trackside
  • Centre circle flag bearing as teams run out the tunnel
  • Half-time match on the Tynecastle pitch
  • Lap of honour around Tynecastle
