Danny Swanson insists Hearts are full of confidence ahead of Hamilton clash.

Danny Swanson insists Hearts are full of confidence heading into Saturday’s game against Hamilton and are determined to find consistency in their performances.

The midfielder started in last Saturday’s 4-0 win at Partick Thistle which saw the Jambos leapfrog Aberdeen into second place. Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Danny said:

“It’ll be a tough game on Saturday, they turned us over at Hamilton before I came along but we’re going in to the game on the back of a good result at Partick. We’re in second place and the boys are full of belief.

“We’ve got a good squad of players but it’s all about consistency, so we’re looking to put a good run together now.”

The Edinburgh-born midfielder is enjoying life at Hearts so far and has been suitably impressed by the quality of players and standard of coaching at Riccarton.

“The set-up here is really good. The training sessions here are excellent and you have to credit the manager for that.

"The work Robbie puts in is incredible, he’s got the players working hard and he puts a lot of effort into the training drills. We work hard but it’s enjoyable as well, so I’m loving it so far.”
