Away form crucial

Head coach Robbie Neilson drills it into players that points on the road are a necessity.

Robbie Neilson has told his players that they need to win consistently away from home to have any chance of promotion from the Scottish Championship.

The Jam Tarts travel to Stark's Park tomorrow and Robbie knows that Raith Rovers will provide a stern test as his team aim to make it three league wins out of three.

Speaking to the media at Tynecastle this morning, Robbie said: "I said right from the start that it would be the teams out-with the so called three 'bigger' ones that will have a big bearing on where the title goes.

"It's important that we prepare properly for these games, which we have this week. We started on Monday, preparing for the game on Saturday, and it's important that we go there with the right attitude.

"If we can win at these grounds then we've got a great chance of winning the league.

"I know Grant Murray very well. Raith are a good team and an experienced team. They've been in the league for a while and they know what they need to do so it's going to be a very difficult game. We know that and we're preparing properly."

Robbie welcomed new signing Adam Eckersley to training today and revealed that his transfer dealings look to be done and dusted for this window.

"You can never say never but at the moment (in terms of more players coming in), probably not," he said. "We've got six boys who will be out at the weekend but we've got a strong squad, so I don't think I need anymore to come in."

Robbie's press conference is available to watch in full on HeartsTV.
