Nestled within Tynecastle Park and managed by Heart of Midlothian Football Club, this culinary gem has clinched the honour amid stiff competition.
The prestigious accolade, derived from an extensive analysis of over 1.2 million OpenTable diner reviews, showcases the restaurant's dedication to excellence.
Through meticulous dining metrics, including ratings, the proportion of advance reservations, and glowing five-star reviews, the list unveils the most celebrated destinations favoured by diners throughout the year.
As one of Edinburgh's elite, Skyline Restaurant shares this distinction with only two other eateries in the city.
Head of Hospitality and Catering from Heart of Midlothian and Scottish Chefs board member, Graeme Pacitti, said it was great to be recognised in such a high profile list.
