Andy Kirk

  • Position:Manager
  • Nationality:Northern Ireland
  • Date Of Birth:29th May 1979
  • Signed On:1st June 2016

Andy Kirk returned to the club where he made his name in 2016 when he joined initially as an under-15s coach.

He soon moved up to the under-17s and then, when Jon Daly became a First-Team coach, Andy took charge of the reserves.

The Northern Irishman racked up 134 appearances in maroon between 1999 and 2004, scoring 35 goals in the process and enjoying and lethal partnership up front with Mark de Vries.

Since becoming reserves manager at the start of the 2017-18 season, Andy has helped develop an incredibly youthful side with a number of young players making first-team appearances or being promoted permanently.

Although Andy strives to create a winning mentality in his set-up, he acknowledges that development is the main goal for his players and has therefore been delighted at the progress of players such as Callumn Morrison, Harry Cochrane, Anthony McDonald and many others.
