Aaron has made an outstanding start to his career at Hearts, starting the Scottish Cup Final in just his third senior appearance.
Aaron began his footballing career at Hearts before a brief spell with Celtic. It was during his time in Glasgow that he was converted to central midfield, although last season saw him used as a full-back for the under-18s, reserves and first team sides.
Reserves manager Andy Kirk said that Aaron "is eager to make his mark and showcase his competitive edge after signing professional terms."
As a player, he is comfortable on the ball and gets about the midfield area really well. He has a decent range of passing and is ambidextrous with his feet.
Before Christmas 2018, Aaron was named amongst the substitutes against Livingston and he was on the bench another five times before finally making his debut away against Aberdeen on May 10th 2019, in a 2-1 loss. A week later he made his first start, away at Celtic Park.
Aaron then became the youngest player to start a Scottish Cup final in the modern era when he started at left-back against Celtic on May 25th 2019.
He was a member of the Scotland under-17 squad, coached by Brian McLaughlin, and has been called up twice in 2019. He has since been called up to the under-19s during the 19-20 season.
