The club is pleased to announce that four Hearts U20s players have today commited their futures to Hearts.
Andy Irving, who marked his senior debut with an assist in Wednesday’s 3-0 win at Hamilton, has penned a two-year extension that will keep him at Tynecastle until 2020.
Daniel Baur is another young prospect who has broken into the first team this season and he has also committed his future to Hearts until 2020. The central defender will now join Albion Rovers on development loan until the end of the current campaign.
The third player to sign an extension until 2020 is attacker Callumn Morrison, who recently returned from loan at Stirling Albion. He will now join Brechin City on development loan until the end of the season.
Goalkeeper Kelby Mason has agreed to a one-year extension that will see him remain a Hearts player until 2019. Finally, 15-year-old Connor Smith has signed his first pro-contract with the club on a deal until 2020.
A couple of other Hearts youngsters have also secured loan moves until the end of the season. Midfielder Angus Beith moves to Stranraer whilst Irish striker Aidan Keena has joined Queen’s Park on development loan.
Those players on a development loan will still be eligible to feature for Andy Kirk’s U20 side.
