Scotland U21s lost 1-0 to Macedonia on Friday night.
Scotland U21s suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to FYR Macedonia in Friday night's European Championship qualifier at Tynecastle.
A crowd of 4,557 took in proceedings in Gorgie. Kire Markoski's first-half strike proved to be the only goal of the game, although the Scots felt agrieved when a Liam Henderson goal was ruled out deep into injury time.
No less than five Jambos featured for Scotland on the night, with Liam Smith, John Souttar and the out-on-loan Jordan McGhee starting. Sam Nicholson and Billy King (on loan at Inverness CT) made appearances as second-half substitutes.
Next up for Ricky Sbragia's men is a tricky tie to the Ukraine, to be played on September 6th.
