Hearts’ contingent of young Scots helped to make it an unbeaten week for the national U19 and U21 sides.
Jack Hamilton made his Scotland U21 debut last night and kept a clean sheet as the young Scots ran out 3-0 winners in Luxembourg, with Jambo defender Jordan McGhee playing the heart of defence. Winger Billy King was an unused substitute.
McGhee also played 90 minutes last Thursday in Slovakia as Billy Stark’s side were pegged back by a last minute equaliser as Scotland were held to a 1-1 draw.
Last Tuesday saw Angus Beith turn out for Scotland U19s against Czech Republic at Cappielow. Despite twice taking the lead, the visitors left with a point after the match finished 2-2.
