The official Heart of Midlothian FC matchday programme is now on sale ahead of tomorrow’s Ladbrokes Premiership match against Ross County.
As ever, the 84-page publication is jam-packed with a range of historical features, interviews, stats, columns and images.
Midfield maestro Arnaud Djoum dons the front cover and is also the subject of the main interview. He talks of his pride at winning his first Cameroon cap and his gratitude to Hearts.
Elsewhere there are columns from Ann Budge and Robbie Neilson, as well as a first column from the club’s new captain Perry Kitchen.
Gary Cowen has another excellent ‘Past Programmes’ feature which this time looks at that memorable European away tie in Basel.
Club historian David Speed once again delves into the Hearts archives as he digs out images from the club’s South African tour in 1954 as well as some Player Admission Cards dating back over 100 years.
Hearts TV commentator Laurie Dunsire, meanwhile, looks back on a memorable trip to Dingwall back in January 2014 in his Terrace Talk. Elsewhere, John Robertson reminiscies about a Ross County friendly and Highland pre-season tour in the 80s.
With the Hearts Hall of Fame Event just over a week away, former inductees John Robertson, Jim Jefferies, Freddie Glidden and Henry Smith share their thoughts on what it meant to play for Hearts.
There’s also plenty of stats, match reports and news to be found, including updates from the Hearts Ladies, Big Hearts, HYDC and the Hearts Community Coaching & Football Development department.
The programme is on sale in the Hearts Clubstore now for £3.50. You can also pick up a copy in and around Tynecastle prior to kick-off tomorrow.
