Dundee United came from behind to seal a 3-3 draw against Hearts U20s in yesterday's Development League match in Montrose.
The Wee Jambos raced into a three goal lead in the first half but had to settle for a point in a thrilling encounter yesterday afternoon.
Jon Daly's side dominated proceedings for large periods of the game and took the lead through Dario Zanatta on six minutes. The Hearts team, which featured the returning Jamie Walker, then doubled their lead through Callumn Morrison on 17 minutes. Buchanan then made it 3-0 on the half-hour mark, before Scott Fraser pulled one back for the hosts.
United got their second shortly after the restart courtesy of Reghan Tumilty, before Fraser grabbed his second goal of the day to draw the hosts level on 61 minutes.
Hearts' Russell McLean, who replaced Walker at half-time, was then sent off with roughly fifteen minutes remaining.
