Hearts U20s suffer 2-0 defeat at East End Park.

Hearts U20s suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Dunfermline on Tuesday night.

The hosts took the lead on 3 minutes through James Thomas, but the Wee Jambos matched the Pars for much of the first half, with Callumn Morrison and Lewis Moore going close with a couple of efforts.

Dunfermline enjoyed a bright start to the second half before a disallowed Dario Zanatta goal denied Hearts an equaliser.  Thomas then added his second of the night with just a few minutes to go.

The defeat at East End Park was the first of the season for Jack Ross’s side, having drawn their first two games against Rangers and Kilmarnock.

The youngsters will now be looking to bounce back on Monday, 14th September when they host St Mirren at Ochilview.
