Wee Jambos battle back against Bairns

3rd November 2015

Hearts U20s come from behind to draw at home against Falkirk last night.

Hearts U20s battled back to secure a 2-2 draw against Falkirk last night.

The Wee Jambos found themselves 2-0 down after 17 minutes, but second-half goals from Dario Zanatta and Callumn Morrison bagged Liam Fox’s side a share of the spoils.

Jack Hamilton and Gavin Reilly were the only overage players in a youthful staring line up, as Falkirk raced into the lead after 15 minutes, through Kevin O’Hara’s close-range shot.

Two minute later the visitors doubled their lead after Daniel Baur conceded a penalty, which Ryan Blair duly dispatched.

The young maroons made a go of it after the restart and pulled one back through Zanatta on 65 minutes, after he ran onto a Sean McKirdy through ball.

It was scores level three minutes later when Morrison netted at the back post from a Robbie Buchanan cross.

Next up is the Wee Derby next Tuesday, when Hearts travel to Hibs.
