Hearts U20s swept their city rivals Hibs aside in a 4-1 win at Oriam on Tuesday afternoon.
Andy Kirk's young side emerged victorious in their second Development League outing of the season, coming back from 1-0 down to seal a convincing victory before a sizeable crowd at Oriam.
New first team goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin was named in the starting eleven, with the likes of Prince Buaben and Jamie Brandon also featuring.
It was the hosts who took the lead, however, when Callum Crane fired an effort into the top corner. Hearts soon stepped it up a gear and the equaliser came courtesy of Rory Currie, who latched on to Brandon's through ball before finishing into the far corner.
The Wee Jambos then took the lead just before the hour mark as Lewis Moore knocked a shot in off the post. Hearts were playing some great football by this point and deservedly added a third on 77 minutes. Brandon once again took on the role of provider as he teed up Moore who cooly slotted the ball beyond the keeper.
Callumn Morrison then sealed the emphatic victory with a stunning strike right at the death as the Wee Jambos celebrated an impressive win.
