Daniel Stendel insists his players must take the positives from Wednesday's goalless draw in Dingwall but admits his team desperately need to add goals to their game.
“I expected a better performance tonight after Saturday, particularly in the first half. I think we can play with more confidence. We didn’t create anything in the first half, the second was better and we had good chances but we desperately need to score the first goal to make it easier for us," said Daniel.
"In the end the result was OK, we had a little more in possession but the chances weren’t so great.
“I said to the players we need to take the positives. We’re unbeaten in 2020, three games in a row but everyone knows in our situation we need wins to change our position, not draws.
"I think there’s a long way to go to change things. It’s easier for us if we win games, but we need to take the points and go into the game on Sunday with Rangers with confidence.”
