Hearts have signed Greek international Alexandros Tziolis on a deal until the end of the season.
The vastly experienced midfielder joins the Jambos as a free agent, subject to international clearance.
Alex has won 62 caps for Greece and played in his country’s EURO 2008 and World Cup 2010 campaigns in Austria/Switzerland and South Africa respectively.
No stranger to top level domestic football, Alex has plied his trade with Greek giants Panathinaikos, German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen and French outfit Monaco, among others.
He’s also featured in the Champions League and Europa League, and could be involved in the squad for Wednesday night’s Ladbrokes Premiership game at home to Rangers.
