The club would like to thank all supporters who participated in last season’s Top Swap!
Thanks to generous Jambos, the club has donated football kit to charities and non-profits around the world. Donated strips have been sent to some of the most deprived areas in Uganda, Zambia and Rwanda and the club have also donated a large amount to the club’s official charity, Big Hearts.
The club would like to thank all supporters who were able to take part in the Top Swap initiative, your donations have directly impacted the lives of many individuals both at home and abroad who equally share your passion and love of football.
As new initiative, the club will be holding a football boot donation through August and September. There will be labelled 'Boot Banks' located outside of the Clubstore and at the Hearts Academy at the Oriam reception desks to collect your pre-loved football boots.
Your donated boots will be given to 'Pioneers of Change', developed by Chance for Change, an organisation that supports young people in the UK, Malawi and Nepal whose lives and potential are challenged by being homeless, unemployed or in conflict with the law.
The 'Pioneers for Change' programme aims to inform and educate school girls, aged 9 to 17 years, of the risks of child prostitution, trafficking and slavery in Malawi. In addition to workshops and counselling sessions, the girls play football as an outlet of their increased confidence-levels, self-worth and team spirit; however, many of the girls play bare foot or in inappropriate footwear.
To support this programme and give your boots a second home, donate to the 'Boot Banks' today!
The new Clubstore is located to the left of the Main Stand reception, McLeod Street.
