SWPL unveil new branding

08 April 2022

This fresh look, designed in conjunction with PR agency Frame, marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the women's game in Scotland with the introduction of newly created competitions, now under the responsibility of the Scottish Professional Football League.

Hearts Women begin their SWPL1 campaign on Sunday, when Eva Olid's new look Jambos welcome Partick Thistle to Oriam in a 3pm kick off at the national performance centre.

Fiona McIntyre, managing director of the SWPL, said: “It’s an absolutely brilliant time to be launching a new League, and players, managers and supporters have a real sense of anticipation about what lies ahead.

“We believe this is the start of something really special as we enter into a new era for women’s football, and that the SWPL will be at the forefront of driving up interest and participation in women’s and girls’ football right across the country.

“We’re all looking forward to the action kicking off on Sunday and wish all clubs across SWPL 1 and SWPL 2 the best of luck for the season ahead.”
