Hearts’ latest signing Andraz Struna believes his new team’s style of play will suit him down to a tee.
The 27-year-old Slovenian right-back, who has 25 international appearances to his name, today joined Hearts on a deal until the end of the season.
The defender, who can also operate on the left side of defence, has previously played top-flight football in Slovenia, Poland and most recently Greece. Speaking to HeartsTV, Andraz explained why he believes this will prove to be a good move for both player and club.
“I’m very happy to be here and I’m looking forward to helping the team achieve its goals for the second part of the season,” he said.
“I’m an attacking full back and I think I’ll be good fit based on the ideas presented to me by the club and the Head Coach.
“I like possession football and I understand that is the way Hearts want to play, so I am optimistic. The facilities here are good, as a player you have everything you need here so now it’s about getting to work.”
