Hearts have signed striker Cole Stockton on a pre-contract.
The 23-year-old will pen a two-year deal on July 1st, following the expiration of his contract at Tranmere Rovers.
The Merseyside-born forward came through the youth ranks at Tranmere and made his professional debut in January 2012.
He enjoyed loan spells at Vauxhall Motors, Southport and Morecambe before returning to Tranmere for the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.
The tall striker scored 18 goals in all competitions last season, including a run of eight strikes in Tranmere’s final 11 games as they narrowly failed to achieve promotion from the Conference, losing out to Forest Green in the Play-off Final at Wembley.
Cole will join the club in time to head out to the pre-season training camp in Dublin at the start of July.
