Tonight’s Ladbrokes Premiership match between St Mirren and Hearts has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions affecting the Simple Digital Arena pitch.
The Jambos had been due to head to Paisley for a 7.45pm kick-off, but following a pitch inspection this afternoon it was deemed not playable.
A new date for this fixture will be announced in due course, as will information for supporters who had a match ticket.
Speaking to heartsfc.co.uk about the postponement, manager Daniel Stendel said: “We are of course disappointed that this game cannot go ahead, but we understand that if the pitch cannot be played on then it cannot be played on.
“What is good is that a decision has been made early enough so hopefully most of our 1,500 supporters will not have travelled yet.
“We were ready to play this game and we will be ready again when a new date is arranged.”
