Head Coach Robbie Neilson is delighted with how his squad is shaping up ahead of the transfer window closure next week.
Hearts added a handful of players to their squad in close season, building on the solid foundations set in place by last season’s Championship winning side. As a result, the Jambos are in a strong position ahead of the close of the transfer window.
“There’s been no more offers in for players and there’s nobody we’re looking to bring in either, but it’s football so you never know what might happen,” Robbie told the media on Friday morning.
“We’ll have Pallardo and Augustyn back after the international break, so we’ve got a strong squad with a lot of young players,” he added.
Hearts travel along the M8 this Saturday for a 3pm kick off at New Douglas Park and Robbie is fully aware of the threat posed by Accies.
“They’re a good team, they press really aggressively and they work hard as a unit. They make it really difficult to play football.
“I watched them against Dundee United and a couple of their goals resulted from them breaking up play in the middle of the park. So it’s important we recognize that and try to combat it,” Robbie explained.
