Robbie Neilson has a selection headache ahead of tomorrow’s Ladbrokes Premiership match against Partick Thistle, but this time it’s a positive one.
Missing several key players on Wednesday night, the Jambos went to Dingwall and disposed of Ross County in an impressive manner, winning 3-0.
Now the head coach has nearly a full squad at his disposal, though he knows the performance in the highlands has given him some food for thought.
Speaking to Hearts News, he said: “I was really pleased with how the team performed in Dingwall, given the situation we found ourselves in with injuries and suspensions.
“The ones who came in did really well and the pleasing thing was that so many of our young players started or came on and made a good impression.
“Blazej and Igor have now returned from suspension and we have the likes of Alim and Prince making good progress from the niggles they picked up in the derby.
“Add those guys in with the young guys who played so well on Wednesday, and Jamie Walker and Sam Nicholson playing the last two games after periods out with injury, then I’ve got quite the dilemma on my hands as to who to play.
“But that’s a good problem to have and one I would much rather have than the one I was faced with on Wednesday.
“Everyone is raring to go against a good Partick Thistle side, but we’re looking to pick up full points to take us into Tuesday’s Scottish Cup replay on a high."
