Spanish 'aye' for Jambos

11th September 2014

Exclusive: Spanish midfielder pens deal with Championship leaders.

Robbie Neilson is set to bolster his squad with the addition of Spanish midfielder Miguel Pallardo.

The 28-year-old will go straight into the squad for Saturday's match against Dumbarton, subject to international clearance.

Miguel joins Hearts, until the end of the season, with a fantastic La Liga pedigree. He started his career at Spanish giants Valencia, breaking into the first-team in 2006-07. Since then he's appeared for Getafe, Levante and Almeria and boasts a couple of Spain U21 caps to his name.

Speaking exclusively to Hearts News this morning, a delighted Robbie said: "I'm very pleased to sign Miguel. He is a good player who will be a great addition to the squad. He has good experience of La Liga and hopefully that will benefit the team as well as the younger boys."
