John Souttar has revealed that he and his teammates fancy their chances against any team that visits Tynecastle.
Hearts host Celtic tomorrow in a lunchtime kick off, in an eagerly anticipated first home game of the season.
It’s a game that John is looking forward to, and he believes that home advantage can give the Jambos the edge.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: “I think at Tynecastle we fancy ourselves against anyone, if we start well and the crowd gets behind us.
“I think we’re at a place now where we’ve only been beaten once since the new stand (was opened).
“We’re confident when we go there and fancy ourselves in front of any one.
“We know that if we play well and the crowd are behind us then we’ve got a great chance.
“It’s always a brilliant game. Big games at Tynecastle are what you want to play in, as a player.
“The way we’ve started the season, the last two or three games have been brilliant and we just need to carry on that sort of form going into the weekend.”
