Michael Smith says Hearts want to turn on the style as the season enters into the final straight.
The table-topping Jambos, who command a 13-point lead at the summit of the Championship table, face Greenock Morton at Tynecastle Park on Saturday, six days after drawing at Queen of the South.
Northern Ireland internationalist Smith thinks that while some performances haven’t been up to scratch, he and his teammates have the desire to go into the remaining fixtures “all guns blazing” and finish the campaign with as many points as possible.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Michael said: “We don’t want to go into games thinking that a point will be enough. We want to win the league and by a large margin.
“We’ve got a little bit of a gap at the minute but we’re not resting on our laurels. We go out into every game to win.
“We’ve slipped up a few times this year which is disappointing but that’s for one reason for another.
“Coming into these games now, and looking forward to the end of the season, we’re definitely going to be going all guns blazing to win every game.
“The last few weeks haven’t been great, we’ve scraped through a few results. It’s down to us, the players, to go out and perform well.”
