There was further cause for celebration in the aftermath of today's impressive 2-1 win over Dinamo Bucuresti when it emerged that the injury Scott Robinson sustained isn't as bad as first feared.
The livewire midfielder was a first-half casualty following a robust challenge in the Hearts half. After being assessed by both the club phsyio and site medics, he was taken to hospital to get checked out.
Despite initial fears that a serious knock had occurred, an X-ray has revealed heavy bruising near the shin but no fracture.
Speaking exclusively to Hearts News on the team bus travelling back from Leigh, head coach Robbie Neilson said: "It's a big relief that there isn't more serious damage to Scott's leg.
"He felt it was a bad one and to be fair, at the time it looked bad because of the size and speed of the swelling.
"But that's why we got him checked out straight-away. He'll have to rest if for a couple of days but we don't anticipate him being out for any length of time."
