Sam's Scotland sunk

Jambos winger Sam Nicholson suffered international heartbreak with Scotland U19s last night as they were beaten 2-1 by England.

Sam started the match and despite taking the lead, Scotland were sunk by two late Auld Enemy goals. The result means that Ricky Sbragia's side can no longer progress in the European Championships.

Meanwhile, Jordan McGhee, Callum Paterson, Jason Holt and Kevin McHattie are in the Scotland U21 squad that takes on The Netherlands tomorrow night at St Mirren Park.

The Heart quartet trained at Bishopton yesterday as they look to get a vital European Championship qualifier win over the Dutch.

Callum Paterson took time out from national duty to tell the media that he's looking forward to locking horns with relegated Hibs again next season.

Callum said: "It was strange seeing Hibs go down the way they did. It's not good for them but it's brilliant for us to have four derbies. That will boost attendances for both clubs.

"It's going to be a fascinating league with quite a few big games and I can't wait."
