Robbie Neilson can’t wait to send his team out in front of a capacity crowd on Sunday as the Jambos look to continue their 100% start in the cinch Premiership.
For the first time since March 2020, Tynecastle will return to full capacity as Aberdeen travel to Gorgie for a highly anticipated clash in the capital.
“First and foremost we’re just desperate to see a full house and it’ll be brilliant just to have that atmosphere back,” Robbie explained.
“It’s been a long time coming and it’s a great game to be involved in. Aberdeen are flying high in the league at the moment, as we are, so it’ll be two teams looking to win the game. We know the atmosphere will be great and we’re really excited about it.”
Yesterday brought the news that Hearts will officially become Britain’s largest fan-owned club on August 30th when the transfer of ownership to the Foundation of Heart is completed.
“It’s a monumental achievement for us all. I was here when Ann Budge took over, I know what state the club was left in and the commitment from the fans, the Foundation of Hearts and the Board to put things right is nothing short of magnificent,” said Robbie.
“The fans put money in every month and to be the biggest fan-owned club in Britain is some achievement.
“We now have an organisation that can carry the club forward with the backing of the fans. Now it’s a case of building on that groundwork to take the club forward.”
