Robbie Neilson thinks that the first goal will be key tonight, but has every confidence that it will be his side that grabs it.
The Jambos go into tonight’s Europa League match against FC Infonet with a one-goal advantage, having disposed of the Estonians 2-1 in the first leg.
The head coach knows that his boys will have to be at the best of their game this evening in order to progress through to the next round, where Maltese side Birkirkara lie in wait.
Speaking to the media ahead of tonight’s game, Robbie said: “It’s a 2-1 lead coming over here. It makes it a bit difficult, with Infonet getting the away goal.
“We need to be careful but whenever we come away from home, we’re going to try and win anyway. It’s the same as it would be if it was a 1-1 or a 3-3, we need to work hard and try and get a result.
“Infonet have to come out and score which makes it a bit more open for us. We didn’t play well in the first leg, we got a 2-1 result and we hope that we can perform better and get through the tie.
“We want to score first, as Infonet probably do as well. We’ve got to respect them, they put in a good performance against us at Tynecastle, we were lucky to get away with a 2-1.
“We have to perform better and I think we will be better with having a week’s extra pre-season and getting a 90 minutes under our belt, but we’re ready for it.”
