Robbie Neilson offered fans a brief update on the player recruitment situation in the wake of Hearts' 3-0 victory over East Fife on Saturday.
Trialists Prince Buaben and Osman Sow were on target for the Jambos, and the head coach revealed what stage discussions over both players were currently at.
"There's a lot of positives to Prince's game", said Robbie. "One, he's a good character. Two, he's a good player and three he's got that partnership with Morgaro, which means you don't need time to gel in a side as much, which is invaluable, so to get it tied up would be great. He's the kind of player who'll do what he's told which is something a manager loves."
"Osman is still being assessed at the moment. He was given good reports by people we know, and we saw some DVDs and footage which looked promising. I wanted to get him over as soon as possible so I could see him in the flesh, and assess his character, and he'll stay with us for the next few days while we make a decision."
"I thought he did fantastically well today, we'll have a chat with him and get him in training and take it from there."
Onto the game, Robbie praised his players for the clinical finishing in front of goal, as well as the solid defensive display from the back four and keeper Neil Alexander.
"It was an enjoyable game and we continue to progress, it was a good day for football here. It's not about the result, it's about the strikers getting chances to score, all three strikers did well today, and the back 5 have another clean sheet for their confidence as well."
"Our game clicked today. The surface was really good here, and we're trying to pass the ball with a purpose. We will make mistakes but we won't let that dissuade us from continuing to work on it."
