Robbie Neilson hopes to see his side take on a more aggressive approach on the ball as the league leaders target three points against Greenock Morton on Saturday.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Tynecastle clash, Robbie said:
“When you're going for a league title, it's important to get something out of games that you don't play to your capabilties in - which was the case last Friday.
"We had a lot of possession against Queen of the South but we weren’t aggressive enough with the ball going forward. That’s something we spoke about after the game and we've worked on it in training this week.
“We won 2-0 at Cappielow earlier in the season thanks to two quality Jamie Walker goals. Morton a stuffy team to play against and I expect that to be the case again on Saturday."
Robbie was handed a boost earlier this week as long term injury absentee John Souttar stepped up his recovery by returning to training with the rest of the First Team group. Although he's encouraged by the central defender's progress, Robbie insists he won't be rushed back.
“Today he trained for about 25-30 minutes with the rest of the lads and I think that’s really important.
“The original plan was to have him back for the start of pre-season. He’s quite far ahead of schedule now but we don’t want to put a date on exactly when he’ll be back playing.
“I’d rather just make sure he’s 100% right. He’s had a number of knocks in the last few years and has shown tremendous resilience to get himself back again."
