Robbie Neilson believes that a bumper Tynecastle crowd on Wednesday night can inspire his team to League Cup glory over Celtic.
The Jambos head into the match off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Ross County, while Celtic come to town after thrashing Dundee United 5-0.
The Hearts head coach has urged the maroon faithful to turn up in their droves for the midweek tie and help spur his side to glory.
Speaking to HeartsTV, he said: “It makes a huge difference to us, having a big crowd behind us. Celtic’s allocation has been cut from what it generally is in the past so we need to make sure that sell out and really make it a tough environment to come to.
“The players need the backing and it’s going to be a really tough game. People talk about Celtic having a difficult start to the season but they’re still a top team with top players.
“We have to makes sure that we make it as intimidating as possible for them.”
