Robbie Neilson believes his side should always be scoring from all over the park as the Jambos prepared for the Scottish Cup Final with a 6-1 win over Queen of the South.
Steven Naismith, Jamie Walker, Elliott Frear and Jamie Walker all notched, while Liam Boyce bagged a brace, against the Doonhamers at Tynecastle.
The manager was happy to see goals flying in from all positions and admits he now has a selection headache, in a good way, for next week’s cup final against Celtic.
“I was pleased with the result,” he said. “We played well, passed it well and created opportunities to score goals, we probably should have scored more.
“There were another couple of chances to get more goals on the board - but to go into the cup final after a result like that is great.
“That’s the way it should be. We can’t just rely on strikers or one player to get the goals. It was good for Gino and Frear, who have been out for a while, as well as Naisy and Boycie.
“It’s a tough task to pick a team for Sunday - but a really good task to have. We have good options and, even picking the bench against Queens, Jordan Roberts didn’t even make the bench because we have such a good squad at the moment.
“So, we’ll decide how we want to play next week and decide who fits into that.”
