Robbie: Confidence high

24th December 2015

Robbie Neilson says his players go into Celtic game brimming with confidence.

Robbie Neilson believes his side can take all three points in Sunday’s Ladbrokes Premiership match against Celtic.

The Jambos go into the game high in confidence after last week’s shoutout against St Johnstone, despite playing at McDiarmid Park with only ten men for over an hour.

Head coach Robbie thinks both teams will try to play football this weekend at Tynecastle, serving up a festive treat for the fans.

Speaking to Hearts News, he said: “I think it’s going to be a really good game on Sunday.

“Both teams like to get the ball down and play football. We’ve had to adapt our style of play in recent weeks to combat our surroundings, but the Tynecastle pitch will suit our game perfectly this weekend.

“The draw at St Johnstone showed we’ve got the fight to dig in when the going gets tough, which is a great attribute to have.

“We go into this game confident. We’ve trained well this week and we’re looking for to it.”
