Robbie aiming to spoil Hartley return

20th November 2015

Robbie insists his players are refreshed and ready to go against Dundee.

Robbie Neilson is expecting a tough test against Dundee tomorrow as he comes up against former teammate Paul Hartley.

The Dundee manager remains a popular figure amongst the Tynecastle faithful, but Robbie is confident his recharged troops are ready to maintain their good run of form. Speaking to the media on Friday, the Head Coach said:

“I’m expecting another good game tomorrow, we’ll have a full house again so we’ll look to keep going.

“It’ll be a hard game, Paul’s built a decent team there. Obviously Paul was a big player here, he’ll get a good reception from the fans but hopefully we’ll get the three points.

“In terms of the good run of form we were on, you could argue the break came at the wrong time for us. But injury-wise and in terms of player fitness, it has probably worked out quite well.

“We’ve been able to give a few guys a bit of a break, which has enabled them to recover and they’re now good to go again.”

Robbie has no fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow’s 3pm kick off and was delighted to welcome Captain Alim Ozturk back to training on Friday following an injury lay-off.

“It’s great to have Ozturk back and he’s training today, but he’s still a week or two away from being involved in games.  Walker and El Hassnaoui are getting there too, so I’m pleased.”
